Blue folks in Oz

Yep, 'nother illo for "A Refugee in Oz." As usual, book illo will be B&W, the coloring is just for fun. In today's exciting episode Kokoro, the title character, and his father Kuromo meet the Woozy. So much blue - you'd think they were related.

The more I draw those long robes, the sillier-looking they get. The Woozy, on the other hand, has grown on me. I want a Woozy plushie. Hmm, come to think of it, it wouldn't be hard to make one, as the pattern would be all squares and rectangles.
