My first attempt at Cantus the Fraggle Minstrel. Lemme tell you, it's not easy finding reference material for this guy, especially of his lower body. (Unless you count the animated Cantus, and I sure as heck don't. He looks like a half-plucked Big Bird.) I'm sure he wears something under that tinfoil-y robe of his, but heck if I know what, and I don't have my DVDs right here. I will admit I'm pleased with how his fur turned out.

Being a Fraggle, Cantus does get a little silly, and I like to think that he could find music in anything.

Apparently, the Cantus puppet was designed to be a caricature of Jim Henson. Were you aware of that?

I have noticed similarities in structure--long, thin face framed by manelike hair--and expression, but I have not heard that he is actually supposed to be a caricature.

"Caricature" may be a poor choice of word, but yeah, apparently he was designed to look like his puppeteer.
