Character design: The Princessa

I've been working on a Top Secret Illustration Project for some time now, which is why I haven't been losting a lot here. Now my part is done, but I can't tell ya about it just yet. So in the meantime I'll post some of my preliminary character designs.

Here's the Princessa. Her fashion sense goes beyond gaudy into...I don't know, whatever is beyond gaudy. The final version of the character had even more frippery on the skirt, and Shirley Temple sausage curls in addition to that mass of ringlets. She was a ridiculous amount of fun to draw.
