Also with him climbing the stalagmite like this reminds me of "Catch the Tail by the Tiger" number when he is climbing up a different type of rock formation.
Gobo's original puppet--the one seen only in the pilot episode--looks like a baby bird to me. I was thinking of the longer hair he had in the first dozen or so episodes when I drew this.
I didn't really know that there was one other in the pilot, even though I have always noticed that the Gobo in "Thirty Minute Work Week" didn't quite look right to me. I often forget they they were shot in a different order, so when I think of the first Gobo puppet I picture the one in "Beginnings" as it was the first I was introduced to.
