Sometimes I imitate other art styles. It's a fun way to loosen up. And the style used in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
is pretty simple, so I didn't have to do as much research as I did when mimicking Don Martin
or Albert Uderzo
. And both Fraggles and Ponies are candy-colored. So... here's my take on this. I'm sure I can't have been the first person to ponify these guys; these days there's a pony version of everything. It's like Rule 34, but family safe.
Red's giving off too much or a Rainbow Dash vibe, perhaps. But then, they're both brash, athletic pain-in-the-neck types, so I guess it was inevitable. I'm not too satisfied with Mokey's mane; maybe it should be longer. I do like how Eeyore-ish Boober turned out.
Before anyone asks for more MLP art: I'm not a brony. I've seen some of the shows, and they're amusing, but the show doesn't grab me by the throat. However, if I saw a Derpy toy, it'd end up on my computer desk toot sweet.
