Springaling 340 : Caping the Bull

When I was a kid I read a book about a kid who wanted to be a matador.  he couldn't be trained for it, so he would go into the yard at night and practice, getting the bulls to charge a cloth the way matadors do with their capes.  "Caping the bulls" turned out to be a very bad idea.  Not for the boy, because he had his fun, but because the bulls learned that going after the cloth was useless. The matadors got a nasty surprise when the bulls went for the more solid target instead.

Anyhow!  I just realized that these comics are so much easier to do when the Puppet is against a blank background, because then I can get the transparent effect via a simple overlay rather than drawing him separately and moving him into each panel.

So!  How long do you think Mister Nameless has to live?
